Wrist rest for Throttle

Unread postby burgman2170 » 27 Apr 2011, 18:37

While I was in Campbellsville KY on Monday I noticed a Burgman Scooter 650 with a very interesting Throttle Control. There was a small plate that was attached whereas on long rides you can keep your wrist rested on the plate and at the same time control the speed of the trike without having cruise control. The grips were smaller and softer but feeling them they provided more gripping for the hands. On longer trips these grips would be great as twisting the throttle is always a pain when trying to stay at a fixed speed.

I looked on the grip and never saw the name of the company. Has anyone ever seen grips like I'm referring to with a small stainless steel plate to rest your wrist on?

Thanks

The "other" one is called a Throttlerocker:

I have a Throttlerocker II, because it has a velcro strap that will fit over my cushioned grips.

I received my Crampbuster this week. Added it to the throttle in a few minutes and off for a ride to Milford. What a difference. Love it thanks!
