Well, I hate when we don't have a weekly ride but we did ride a heck of a lot over the past weekend.

I had a great ride for this week and remembered I have my annual eye exam at 4pm. It lasts a couple hours and they do that doggone pupil dilation that just about ruins me for several hours. So I'm already bumming I won't be able to ride to work tomorrow...now all I have to do is figure out where my car keys could be hiding.

So I hope someone comes up with something for tomorrow night. Anyone can lead a ride; if you are far away, call a ride near your home (a-hem, Dan!).

We can always change to another night as well...Thursday can be a ride if Wednesday is out for that week. Just a thought.

If not, I will have a ride for the 9/8 WNR for sure.

I think i am going to indy for their wed night ride anyone is welcome to join me though!

I'm in no way comfortable leading a ride but I'll be out tonight, probably around Fairfield, getting Gina some more riding practice.

If you want rides closer to home you either have to lead or let someone in the group know of any ideas you have. If there is somewhere you would like to go in your area, suggest it and others will be more than happy to work with you in finding cool routes and who are willing to lead the ride. As long as I have Google Maps, I can lead a ride anywhere. I get turned around once in awhile but there's always someone in the group with a GPS or who knows the way back. Piece of cake!

I apologize if I've ever come across as complaining about the location of the rides, it was never my intention. I've always tried to make the ones that are feasible. I don't expect anything more.

We know that! No need to apologize at all! I only feel bad you and Gina aren't able to come along on more rides. So I'm just trying to come up with some ways we can include you more often!
