Flying Pig vs T N G

Postby Bonegirl » 27 Mar 2010, 11:51

If you're working the Flying Pig Marathon this may require you to leave early Saturday night so you can get up at 2am.

Me and Ben are taking off Friday, April 30th to head up so we can get there by Noon. There is now a HUGE after-party event Saturday night so we'll be there until Sunday for sure. As a matter of fact, we already have our campground reservations at Bill Monroe. It will be so sweet!

Thats up to you Mike.
If it was me, I wouldn't. I would just go to be a spectator.
It all sounds like fun like I said before, but I will not make this event. I would want to ride out there and back and I have a marathon to volunteer on Sunday morning around 5:30a.

I think it's great you guys are volunteering for the Flying Pig but the Twist -n Gone event is going to way more fun!

Me, Ben and Deb are most likely racing. We are leaving early Friday to ride out and it looks to be about a 3 hour ride with no stops so I figure we'll need about 4 hours. I am so freaking psyched! Ben is driving the camper to get a practice run int before Deal's Gap. I hope this becomes an annual event. Yippee!

Papa! Go for it and be a racer! M!ke, don't be a wuss!
