one web site:

www.evaporust.com

Great product tested by military. If you cannot put your part in a bath of it, you can soak a rag and put on part. More liquid and time allowed to work the better.

Best part is availability. It is sold by Autozone and availalbe in the great city state of Cincinnati.

Body shops Use blasting with appropriate media [sand, walnut shells beads] then fill in with body filler. If not pitted rmove rust to bare metal then zink prime and paint.

Zinc Chromate? POR-15 Site

Unread postby brockster » 20 Jan 2008, 23:30

Don't airframe mechanics use that light green zinc chromate stuff? Can that be used on steel? :?:

I've heard good things about POR-15. They sell a 'Super Starter Kit' for like $18.00 on their website. I may have to give that a try on the 550 when I start cleaning it up.
