Test Ride the New Honda SHi150 at Honda of Fairfield

Postby Bonegirl on 29 Jun 2009, 22:42

Me and Lagerhead went to Honda after work today and had a blast test riding the new Honda SHi150. It is "zippy" to say the least. Honda of Fairfield gets perks as well as customers so we told Chris (Manager) we would post it on our Forum. Would anyone be interested in riding out there this week to play on these scooters? I am open Wednesday or Thursday after work if anyone is interested let me know. Thanks!

So are you considering trading in your aging Buddy for a Honda? :D

That really cool that they allow test rides. Fewer and fewer dealers are allowing that these days. Before I bought my Helix, I was looking hard at the Burgmans. I couldn't find a dealer that would let me ride it first. I take that back, Honda of Florence would let me ride it to the corner and back so long as the odometer did NOT reach 1. The salesman told me that if the odometer had even 1 mile on it, people wouldn't buy it as new anymore. WHATEVER!

Yeah, I'd love to go out for a ride. But I haven't much free time these days. You all call the time, and I'll try to make it.

Nice looking scoot - I like that burnt? red color too. But it's those 16" wheels that really has me pining.

I would definitely be interested in a ride to check this out.

I first owned a china scoot (prior to my Helix). It was a Qlink Pegasus.

Heres a photo of the Pegasus:

And a photo of the Honda SHi:

How close my Peg actually was/is to the SHi, I surely could not comment. I know that my bike was NOT Fuel Injected (but the newer models are). But my bike did have the 16" wheels. They made nice of bumps in the road :-) I look forward to a chance to see the SHi in person (and ride it :) )
