New to board and scooting (Syc Twp)

Bought a scooter a few months ago to bring along on camping trips. Have found that I use it a lot around town too. Joined the board yesterday, and wouldn't you know it, I laid the scoot down last night on a turn on a wet (and slimy) street corner. Bruised (busted?) rib, road rash on the elbow, damaged ego, but rode home. Still undiminished enthusiasm. Watch out for the (perpetually weeping) corner of Mason-Montgomery and Natorp Blvd!

Welcome, Sorry to hear about the incident! I am glad you are willing to get back on the horse! Hope to see you on a ride soon and I promise we will stay away from that corner

Welcome, I am also from Sycamore Township. After I get my vespa back, I will be riding again. Glad too have a local scooter rider, maybe we will bump into each other around the Kenwood Mall.

I am so sorry to hear you had an accident on your scooter. I never want to taste the pavement and so sorry you had to.
