New scooterist thanks to M!ke!!

Hi ! I just got my first scooter!! A special gift from my Sweetie!! I am so excited to get riding! Its a Blackjack Buddy and I absolutely love it!!
In the past I've played around with dirtbikes and always wanted to get some real two wheeled transpo. I think this Buddy will be perfect for me.

I met a few of you last summer in Maysville, hopefully you remember who I am. I cant wait to see everyone and experience some new places.
M!ke tells me that with all the miles Angie has put on her scooter, she's the one to ask for pointers! :)

Well a little bit about myself... I moved to Stout Ohio almost two years ago to be closer to family. I have four boys ages 31,29,16, and 15. The two older boys are still in Pa.
We really love it here, and have a great view of the river. House on ten acres, and M!ke has cleared lots of hiking/ fourwheeler trails for us to enjoy. I have a nice little spot
for a garden... and even have eagles landing on my powerlines. It's a beautiful place to be.

Occupations... well lets see.. Worked with the elderly, had my own housecleaning business, owned and operated a organic farm, worked with a midwife delivering babies at
home, worked in a family planning clinic, currently a certified Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Technician.

I have always been a very physical person have even split wood and cooked on a wood cookstove.. and yes it does take a toll on you. Just found out that I have a completely
severed rotator cuff in my shoulder , and now need surgery asap to keep the full use of my arm. I am scheduled on May 3rd, and it's going to be two months for me to recover.
Yes! It sucks!! But I guess I will really appreciate riding with M!ke and meeting everyone!

It is so good to see you with your own scooter. I love my Black Jack and so will you.

I have had both my shoulders repaired, rotator tears in addition to other major repairs in there, and you'll be fine. Dope up as much as possible the first couple days. Make the boys help you around the house. Do your physical therapy to the letter. Believe me, I have the shoulder rehab down to a science. Good luck to you!
