Need help getting Stella back out on the road

Unread postby paperboy » 27 Mar 2010, 00:52

My Stella has been sitting in the garage all winter. Spring has come and I am besides myself cause my scoot is broken down.

Here's the story. Last Fall my scoot broke down on Rt. 52. I had trouble starting the scoot but once I did start the scoot it would die after engaging 1st gear. Nevertheless, I was able to get it off the street. I changed the spark plug. Took the old gas out and placed new gasoline in the tank. I still couldn't figure out whether the problem is spark or fuel related. On top of that there is a major oil leak. I can't determine the source either. ANyhow, its not really an option to take it down to Auto4n as I have little $$$ right now. Would anybody take me up on an invitation to come over to the Anderson area and help me fix the Stella?

How well does the bike run if it's in neutral?
