Dear Fellow Scooterists,

Metro Scooter is sponsoring a new scooter club, The Mighty Ohio Scooter Club (MOSC). There will be chapters in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus and wherever else the scooter road leads them! Please use this thread to post anything that is related to the MOSC Club Events: this includes any of their sponsored rides, cookouts, etc, etc, etc. Thanks and have fun!

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

FAQ

Q. Are there membership requirements?
A. Just two. You have to own and ride a scooter.

Q. How can I join?
A. Submit a picture of you and your scooter (preferably together) and show up at a Mighty O event.

Q. Does it cost to join?
A. Ten dollars. You get a tee shirt, buttons, patches, and stickers.

Q. Who sponsors the Mighty O's?
A. In Cincinnati -Metro Scooter, in Cleveland - Pride of Cleveland Scooters, in Columbus - Capital City Scooters.

Q. What do the sponsors do?
A. Provide the swag and collect the dues, provide a home base, help link with chapters in other cities and generally help out as needed.

Q. My girl/guy rides with me. Can he/she join?
A. Sure. Picture, $10.

Q. Why do you want my picture?
A. We will post them on the website to help everyone to get to know eachother.

Q. I am a memeber of another scooter club. Can I join the Mighty O's?
A. Yes.

Q. Is there a forum?
A. You can post at scootcincinnati.com, scootcleveland.com. columbus tbd.

Q. My scooter doesn't run yet, can I join now?
A. Sorry, you have to own and ride.

Q. What if there is someone in the club who get on my nerves?
A. Mighty O's stand shoulder to shoulder. In the unlikely event you have a personal problem with another member, you need to act like you like each other or settle your differences away from the club.

Q. Will my membership be revoked if I become a nuisance?
A. Yes.

Meg and Kim and Dave are making Chili so far.The competition is open and judging is by a poll on the forum.

The MOSC is going to be very different and a lot of fun
Own a scoot ? ride a scoot ? promote fun and safe scootering ? Then you are MOSC if you stop by Metro and submit a pick .

Mmmmmmm....chili.....I didn't see anything about a competition bewteem chili but I was planning on making some Cincinnati style chili...maybe some spaghetti....but not for competition, just taste bud enjoyment.

Stupid Snow!

I was all ready to ride to Metro and it's been snowing heavily for the last hour. :x Dang the bad luck, anyway! See you tomorrow in my cage unless the snow dries up and blows away!

A few changes in the above info.

It is free to join the MOSC .. We are non exclusive and there is no "initiation"

Own a scoot
Ride a scoot
Bring a friend

We are promoters/sponsors of the Mods and rockers rally this year.

We will have six or seven FB/yr crosslinked to Scootercincinnati


A MOSC T shirt is 7 bucks see Parker Rueve to pick you size and color .

A MOSC T will protect you from evil asphalt spirits and mean people .
