Time to rev your engines for the 2009 Indy Rally. Believe it or not, I just purchased 2 tickets for me and Ben. The fun and games we had last year were awesome and I don't want to be left behind this year. I am waiting to hear back from someone about Brickyard Crossings, the dump (I mean, hotel) we stayed in last year. They suggested I wait until the beginning of the year to make a reservation because Indy won't be able to block rooms until then. For the most fun and games, you really should consider staying at The Brickyard with us. Let me know if that's your plan so I have a head count when we tell the Indy guys how many rooms we want.

Sassy, I am sorry but it sounds like you may be coming down with a recent virus I have been reading about. It is called the Brickyard Flooter Virus. There is a gestational period of approximately 7 months and the only known antidote is in Indianapolis. You should begin having severe symptoms come mid June of next year when you develop increased depression, aversion to close quarters (like cars), weepiness upon exposure to satin/taffeta/silk or other foreign materials, uncontrolled leg spasms at the sound of accordion music and God knows what else. I am sure there will be many more cases as 2009 rolls in.

I will keep you informed of the facts as they are revealed to me but I think, considering the circumstances, you may need to reconsider going too far away from Indiana come next Summer; you are just going to expose Brad's family to your illness if you're not careful. Me and Ben would gladly accept the responsibility of looking after you and even accompanying you to Indy once the symptoms become more apparent and treatment is inevitable.

I got your back, Sister!

Nothing like the present! We booked a room at Motel 6 for the Rally this year. The Brickyard is gone (the dump finally crumbled). The hotels in close proximity to all the events are ridiculously expensive. I just need a place to crash and get a shower. This one is a little less than 10 miles from Speed City Cycles and Broadripple so it works for me at $50/night. Hit "Ctrl" and Click to open details.

Bummer about the Brickyard. It was nice to be so close to Speed City Cycle on Sat. morning. Thanks for finding a new spot, Ang. Will have to wait a few weeks to get everything else worked out to make sure I can go. This will be another great time, especially hanging out with you all in Indy.
