Anyone know if dates have been set yet for the Gasoline Rally in Indy this year? Doesn't look like they have any new info on their website. Need to look at my vacation schedule this year and plan things out. That Deals Gap trip looks VERY interesting, though. May have to decide between that or Indy.

Got word today from Tim at Speed City in Indy that Gasoline Rally dates are June 18-20 for sure this year!!! Can't wait!

Oh yea birthday party rally this year and it actually falls on my b-day this year!!!!

I think Motel 6 was a total dump but the price was right (less than $50/night for 2 adults).

I have asked someone to look into Comfort Suites and Hampton Inn, both of which are down the street from where we stayed last year. I am hoping we can get some kind of a group rate (as it stands, they are $89 and $84/night respectively without any discounts).

If you are looking into other places for us to stay, please post the information so we don't duplicate our efforts.

I am interested in going,but need some info, like how are you going up there, where you staying, this will be my first rally outside of ours. Basically I need a guiding hand. I know everyone has a great time. I will be up there for Indy 500.

Everything we do will be posted on this thread so just keep watching. I am waiting to hear back from Papa Johns about the Hotel info but he may be too busy right now to do that. We just search the Internet for a good group deal in the Rally area and post it. You are more than welcome to start a search of your own to help out. People will be riding up at various times but there is usually a large group that heads up there Friday during the day.

I did a quick lookup last week for places on the west side of Indy near the Speedway. Double room, 2 adults.

Econolodge $50.00
America's Best Value Inn: $60.00
LaQuinta: $70.00

All are with a AAA discount.
