Weekend

Postby Bonegirl » 26 Apr 2009, 11:55

We're ready for a long weekend so heading up Friday and leaving Sunday.

It thunderstormed last year and we bailed at the last minute. The first year was a blast, though, and I look forward to this year's event. Here's pictures from the 2007 Rally:

It's about 2/3 of the way from Cincinnati to Indianapolis, right off I-74. About 80 miles.

What route are you planning to take Bonegirl? Picking up Rt. 46 outside of Harrison?

Any idea what time you'll be taking off?

I'm going up there but I'm going up that same morning. Not sure of the route, probably RT.52 then 244.

We're leaving when Ben gets home from work around 4pm Friday.

Our route to the Vespa Dealership: 252 - 52 - left on 44 past Circleville (44 is the same as Broadway in Shelbyville). 81 miles, 2 1/2 hours.

Ok, I'm going to head over there early Saturday morning about 6:30am from my house in Goshen heading all the way across Kemper Rd. to Old Colerain to Cinti-Brookville/IN.252, to Rt.52, to IN.244, to Michigan Ave, to IN 44 into Shelbyville at 56 E. Broadway St.
Its about 96 miles for me one way.
If anybody wants to join me, meet me at a certain point & time along my way, that would be great!
One thing, If its storming or raining I may not go. So those of you who are intrested in meeting me PM me and I'll give you my number or whatever. just incase I cancel. It will probably be last second decision.

Mike, I know Burgman girl and a few others are heading over Saturday morning as well. I'll see what their plans are and if you all can hook up on the way.

Same day if its not too late, and or if its not raining/storming.

(hmm, that would be probably over 300 miles of riding in one day!!! COOOL! :D)

Chance of rain as you head to Shelbyville is low for Saturday. I have been watching the weather there all morning. Cincy has a chance for rain but Google says no rain Saturday or Sunday. We're there! 8)

In all probability, there might be a shower or a passing storm! I'm still there!!! I figure I'll be dry by the time I get there!
