First DIY maintenance

Unread postby stemer » 28 Jan 2010, 23:38

So I finally did my first maintenance. Up til now I've taken it in to Metro/Auto4N to do the work as I don't have the tools and have been apprehensive to do this sort of thing on my own. But I heard about this guy in Mt. Healthy who knows something about scooters and will show you how to do the work. We put on new tires, a new air filter, new rollers weights and changed the oil. It was fun, a lot easier than I expected (except for the tires) and I have a new confidence in working on my scoot. So I'm braggin on you, Lagerhead. Thanks for your time, the use of your tools and your coaching!
