Judging by the response, should I consider buying a lifetime pass to Edgewater??

Not Edgewater but Brown County Dragway in Nashville, Indiana! Next Race is Sunday, August 15th!

Final Drag Race of 2010

Unread postby Bonegirl » 13 Oct 2010, 21:13

Scooterworks Drag Race Series Round 5 Finals will be held October 17th. After the race we will be hosting a small cookout / pitch-in and hand out the prizes to the series winners.

Also to note this round will be held on the same day the track is hosting its big fall invetational weekend. Lots of cars and people will be at this event so bring your friends and lets race!

Me and Ben will be going out early Sunday morning. I am currently in 3rd Place for the Series so I can't afford to miss another Race (like I did in September while we were on vacation. Doh!).

Season finale

Sorry to say I didn't get many pictures but there are many floating around out there. It was a grand day yesterday and I hope more of you will consider doing this next year. It really is a blast. Because it was the inaugural year for the NASRA (North American Scooter Racing Association) Jeremy put into place many rules to protect both himself and the racers. Now that the season is over, I believe the rules will be more lenient next year; not a lot of safety concerns when going in a straight line. I am sure full face helmet will be mandatory. Long pants, jacket, over the ankle shoes and gloves will be mandatory but whether the shoes and gloves have to be leather will be decided next year. Still not a big deal or expense.

I was in 1st place in the Series when I went on vacation in September causing me to miss a race; this hurt my standings so I ended up in 3rd; not too shabby. Ben received King of the Hill yesterday as well as 2nd place for the day. Also a great day for him.

And after the races, we all celebrated the year in review by having an on-site cookout sponsored by NASRA. Good times, more great friends and tons of fun.
