Burgmangirl's New Buddy Addition

Unread postby burgmangirl » 16 Apr 2011, 17:15

I had been thinkin about a smaller scoot addition to have some fun on for awhile now and what better one than a Buddy, right? Had mentioned it previously to some of you and then so thanks to Lagerhead's find and a nice pre-trip to Indy with me, I am now a new member of not only the Burgman Club but the Buddy Club, . Nice 2009 scoot with only 900+ miles and also at a good price. Unique (white) which I hear they didn't make too many of. I'll have it soon out on the road. Don't worry Burgman buds, the ole Burg will still be out there sometimes too esp on some of those long hauls :D

Thanks again Ben for all of your help with finding and getting :)

There's some difference. The Buddy being smaller of course makes for easier/quicker turns on the curves esp being a little easier to maneuver. The Burgman being bigger is a somewhat more comfortable ride I would imagine also esp on the long haul. Smoother ride on the bumps, etc. I could tell just from the time test riding it out there. Already hit a few potholes, imagine that, . Kind of nice having the option now for the best of both worlds, :D I'm going to have alot of fun on it.

Nice Deb! Great find Ben! I bet it is great to have that option now! :D

I have always liked the Buddy scooter. I feel I'm too big for one though.

Congrats!

Burgmangirl just happened to pick up her new Buddy the day I learned how to do the 3D trick. Perfect guinea pig.

You'll need a pair of red / cyan 3D glasses for it to work.

Not the best picture and I'm sure I could do a little better with the alignment but I've only been playing with this effect for about 1/2 hour. :)

If you click on the picture it will take you to the Flickr page where you can view it larger. (click on the magnifying glass icon at the top right of the picture once you're on the Flickr page.)

Being the nerd I am, I just happen to have a pair of red/blue glasses next to my computer...
