Hi Folks,
I just registered for this rally. I have to make at least one rally this year! What hotel are you all staying in? Ben and Angie, can I ride down with you?

:| Well, I'm not going to make this great event. Due to me being off work for over 5 weeks. I just don't have the cash or time to go. I will be back to work by then and need to catch up on bills. If I went, I wouldn't make it down there till late Friday around 1-2am.

Have fun!

I was at the orthopetics yesterday and he told me I will not be able to go back to work till October 17th.

Soooooo, I'm gonna break out the plastic and go on down. I made reservations for 2 at the Red Roof Inn.

Yep, I said 2. I'm dragging G-dine down with me on her scooter. I have been teaching her the does and don'ts of riding and group riding. I still think she needs some work, but what great experiance she can gain on a rally.

We will be leaving around noon on Friday maybe, from her house. We will head down from Maysville on 68 to 27 in Paris Ky. to the hotel. Right around 91 miles total. I figure 3 to 4 hours to get there.

With her inexperiance, if its raining or really cold, I will cancell.

I hope to see, all who is going, down there! :)

Mike, change of plans....much cheaper at Motel 6 so we all cancelled Red Roof for Motel 6. * miles instead of .4 but the $ was right. You'll appreciate that.

Motel 6 - Lexington East #1142
I-75 at Winchester Road/US 60, Exit #110
2260 Elkhorn Road
Lexington, KY 40505
(859) 293-1431

Should be $103 instead of $150

So far it.s me and Ben, Debbie and Holly. (I think Brent and Sharon, too) Sorry about that.

Hey, thanks Angie. :) I'm just going to keep it at Red Roof and pay the extra 50 for the 2 nights. Geraldine still only has her temps and she doesn't have far to go back to the hotel Saturday night. (can't ride at night with temps). We will not go bar touring that night.

I moved my reservations across the street from RedRoof at Extended Stay, which is $20 cheaper a night.

Yeah I know. I want to be there but have an all day seminar I'm leading at work on Sat. Plus have a wedding rehearsal on Fri night and wedding Sat night I'm doing.
Hope it was okay to give JD your number. He and I talked a couple days ago and asked for your number so he could catch up with you guys this weekend.
Have a great time!

No problem Steve with giving JD my number. We spoke for awhile and it was nice talking to him again. Will be nice to see him at the Rally too. Looks like they have a great itinerary this year and the weather is lookin great as well. Sorry you can't make it :( but maybe next year :D

Wow, what a really great rally! The weather was fantastic and the rides were primo! The best ever! Thanks for everyone who made this rally a success. I had a really good time. I took the long way home just so I could be out in the fantastic riding weather! 426 miles later I have arrived home safely. I also ordered a new helmet from Vespa Lexington and can't wait to get it delivered hopefully next week!

Great time, gorgeous weather, and a beautiful long ride through some very pretty Ky country roads :) Loved seeing all the color, water, and all the horse farms,etc.. The Distillery tour and new Gymkana games were cool too 8) Also enjoyed meeting a very nice bunch of people. Excellent job Circle 4 on your 2nd Rally. Best scenic Rally ride ever :D

Thanks to all the KY people and to Holly and Deb for riding down there with me. I was super bummed to miss the ride home but you understood. Took us 4 hours to get there by car!

Anyway, I loved the Rally.
