One of my cycle friends has a consecutive streak going of 235 straight days of riding the bike to work and leaving the car at home. She lives in St. Louis, MO so I'm sure she will have eventual snow & ice to deal with like us but I think that is impressive and a fun stat to keep. Anyone else have any streak going???

I had 21 days in a row in part of July and August. Then I had a golf outing out west of Cincinnati and had to keep my bike at home. I thought 21 days was a long streak but 235 days man that is a long streak.

I haven't kept track but I've got a pretty long streak of commuting to work on the scoot Sun-Thur. Can't remember the last time I took the car instead. It's probably been since the last severe weather day last spring. I only live 2.5 miles from work so even if there's a chance of bad weather, I'm only riding in it for a few minutes. My wife needs the van with our kids pretty much daily...so I scoot. We only have the one car and one scoot.

There are days I don't scoot but those are usually on the weekend when I'm hanging out with my family. But if we're talking consecutive commuting days to work...I'm probably between 100-200. That would be an interesting stat to keep. I may start.

I used to be up there too with riding to work every day, even many days in winter, but then I started working from home most of the time. Sometimes now I go to the office downtown as an excuse to take the scooter out of the garage. I like working from home but I miss all the riding. I applaud those who commute daily on their scooter, particularly when the Harleys and Sportbikes have all been put away because it's too cold.
