Drag Races Sunday, August 15th, 2010

Unread postby Bonegirl » 15 Aug 2010, 06:52

I am heading out to Brown County Dragway at 7am (10 minutes from now) in Little Nashville, Indiana.

This is the next installment of Scooter Drag Racing. I should land out there before 10am. Ben and his friend, Jimmy, are leaving here in the truck at 7:30 so I'll see them out there. We'll be there until at least 3pm if anyone feels like joining us! Have a great Sunday, whatever you do!

Drag Races Sunday, August 15th, 2010

Well, it was a really long, hot day out in Indiana. Good turnout for scooter races today. I left the house a little after 7am and got home a little after 7:30pm. Rode my scooter about 6 hours and raced the rest. It was an awesome day. Only got 3rd Place today and feel a little cheated. I was beating my opponent when he switched his nitrous on at the last second for a power boost to win. I didn't know that was legal but I'll know next time. So much for straight up racing....

Anyway, still had fun, still get some series points and looking forward to October's race (we'll be on vacation for the September 19th event). Ben and Jimmy have a lot of pictures but I was busy... :D

Great shots, Angie. Congrats on 3rd place. I didn't know you could put nitrous in scoots, that reminds me of "gone in 60 seconds", I wonder if he had a "GO BABY GO" button he pushed at the last second lol

I seem to be the only person that doesn't think it's fair. And yes, he did have a "Go Baby, Go" red button.

Ben says the NOS will tear up your engine so you first!

I couldn't find anything in any Bracket Racing rules that says the one with the most toys wins! Here I was thinking it was skill...silly me...I'm racing boys, though, so I should have known better
