1 - 2 - 3 - Go! Scooter Tag

Postby Bonegirl on 11 Aug 2008, 18:44

I found a new Scooter Tag game on Modern Buddy and I think it should work well for many of you who are unable to get out and ride far and wide. I do not want to eliminate our other Scooter Tag, though. I love researching the Tags and riding to new places, many if which have stories to tell.

Anyway, the rules are as follows:

1) Take a picture of your scooter anywhere you'd like.

2) Find three elements/items in the picture that can easily be found at another location.

3) Post the picture and list the 3 items you are requiring in the Tag.

The idea is to make this fun and not too difficult. You don't want to add props or bring things to the Tag site to make it hard for the next guy. You can be creative without being ridiculous.

I'll start the game on a new post to give you an idea of how it works. Have fun!

House, gazebo/Trellis and Flag

Postby Bonegirl on 11 Aug 2008, 18:50

I will make this one fairly simple, but not too easy. You will need to take a picture of your scooter (duh!) and the 3 items that need to be in the picture are:

1) A House
2) A Gazebo or Trellis
3) A Flag (doesn't have to be an American Flag)

So what happens when someone posts a photo with the three items? Does that person post a NEW photo with a different set of three items?

Yep, just like regular tag, but instead of tagging one specific place you try to find something that there may be thousands of situations with three general/generic things.

Cool. Looks like a fun new twist.

I think the house and the flag is easy enough, but in my area I rarely see a Gazebo or Trellis! Hehe...

Don't forget, you can get as wide a shot as possible. If there's a trellis across the street and a house and a flag anywhere in the shot, it counts! So it doesn't have to be a house that has a trellis and flag in front of it. As long as the three items are somewhere in the picture, it's good.

Maybe this will help.

Stemer, where's you scooter in the picture? That's kind of the point! I'll forgive you this time.

It will be easier to find a cow than a plastic animal!

URGH. I hate my job. I had this tag but I didn't get home from work early enough to take the picture. Should have used night vision. Oh well. Maybe next time. Hum, now to find a plastic animal......

Crap! I forgot to get my scooter in it. I spent most of my lunch hour riding around Hyde Park, Mt. Lookout area. But couldn't find a trellis or gazebo with a flag nearby. So headed home and going through Oakley went down this side street and I guess I was so excited about actually finding a flag and a trellis together (even though they're a block apart) that I forgot to get off my scooter and include it in the photo. Oooops. Thanks for the grace on this one. Guess I can't use this on the MB forum like I had planned. Oh well.

When I went for gas (after cruising around so much) thought I'd just take a picture of the UDF cow. Had been thinking about this one for the other tag but after taking it, realized there wasn't a whole lot in it. So tried going for the easiest 3 things. I guess I could've used said "something metal, the letter D, and a cow."

As for the plastic animal - it can be anything. Heck I even saw a huge yellow inflatable duck on top of a building near Rookwood today. That would count. I thought about going with "cow" but thought plastic animal might be easier. It can even be a little toy animal for all I care.

Have fun looking!

OK. Today I met Ben after church and we rode up to the Canoe Livery before I had to head back. Here's your fence, sign and plastic animal.
